Deana Prindle
Position- 4th Grade Teacher
Educational Background- I graduated from Montana State University (Go Bobcats!!) in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature.
Professional Background- I did my para professional experience in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 6th Grade. I student taught 3rd Graders in Billings, Montana. I began my teaching career with Middle School Math and then moved to First Grade.
Why did you choose this profession? I love kids, and I love to see the “light bulb” turn on inside a child’s head when they learn something new. Their eyes seem to light up and sparkle! The smile that they have is something that makes your day bright!
Personal Background- I am originally from Billings, Montana where I came from a family of 9! I graduated from college and was a contracted teacher all within 5 days of each other! I moved to Idaho in December of 2007. I have two giant black labs that occupy my time when I am not teaching, I am almost certain that one of them is the brother to Marley from the book and movie "Marley and Me". I am recently engaged and will be getting married in August of 2010 in Billings, Montana!!!
