Professional Background- I have taught in every grade level K-8, except 5th grade. In addition, I have taught music in grades 1-6, ESL classes for the College of Southern Idaho , and driver education. My career has given me the opportunity to travel and teach in beautiful and interesting places such as southern/southeastern Idaho , northern Idaho , Baku , Azerbaijan , and on an Indian Reservation in Selfridge , North Dakota .

Why did you choose this profession? I believe that education is the key to enhancing what is great in a child’s life, and helping to change what is not. Education is not only the key to change, but it’s the key to unlocking the world to a child. My passion is to motivate, inspire and empower children to see that their potential is limitless!

Personal Background- I was born and raised in southern/southeastern Idaho . I have traveled extensively throughout the United States , and have been to many countries such as Canada , Mexico , England , Scotland , France and Azerbaijan . I have owned and operated a small, successful business in northern Idaho while maintaining my teaching career. However, my greatest accomplishment can be seen within my four grown children, who are all intelligent, responsible, capable, compassionate, loving adults who are unafraid to reach out beyond themselves and experience life to its fullest.
