Mrs. Cook

I was educated at Ricks College and Idaho State University, before spending 12 years as a Social Worker. A few years ago, I began to consider a career change to teaching. I spent the 2015-2016 school year at White Pine working in the Special Education and Title 1 programs, and recently completed my teacher certification requirements. I have had children enrolled at White Pine for the last few years, and could not be happier to be joining the faculty as a third grade teacher. I think it is very important for third graders to believe that their teacher has confidence in their ability to learn. I want my students to feel that school is a happy, safe place, where we work hard, learn every day, and also have fun.

I live with my husband and two daughters in the Rigby area. We love to spend our time hiking, biking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, camping in all seasons, and just playing outside. I also love cooking, reading, and gardening.
