The White Pine Board of Directors is re-conducting the election for its Board of Directors. Pursuant to the school’s Bylaws, three new Directors will be elected to a term that will end at the annual meeting in July 2022. Any interested party to run in the election must declare his or her candidacy to the Board Clerk, via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), by 5 pm on Friday October 25, 2019.
In order for a candidacy to be valid, the Board Clerk must receive a letter of interest, a one paragraph biography, and a resume. All candidates who submit these documents will be placed on the ballot. Any candidate who fails to submit each of these documents will be notified by the Board Clerk and will have until the October 25 deadline to submit all required documents, otherwise the candidate will be withheld from the ballot.
The election date, times, and location will be announced along with the slate of candidates on Monday October 28, 2019. A Candidate Meet and Greet is scheduled for Monday November 4 from 6-7 pm at White Pine Charter School. The election will be conducted by the PFA and supervised by the Board Clerk.
