Board of Directors

The members of the Board of Directors are the public agents who control and govern the Charter School. The Board is governed by Corporate By-Law.

The number of Directors constituting the Board of the Corporation shall be not less than five (5) or more than seven (7) Directors. The makeup of the Board should be flexible, with the intent of having at least one Director who does not have children attending the school, and at least one director representing each active White Pine Charter School. No employee or spouse of an employee shall hold membership on the Board. All Directors must be individuals.

White Pine Charter School will be a legally and operationally independent entity established by the nonprofit corporation’s Board of Directors.

Board Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month at 6:00PM. If you would like an item placed on the agenda, please send your written request, along with a brief explanation of the discussion item to:

boardclerk@wpcscougars.org

Important: Requests need to be received no later than 3PM the Friday before a scheduled meeting. All meeting material is kept as part of our permanent meeting records. Monthly meetings are open to the public and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Patrons have the option of joining via Zoom (see agenda for link) or attending in person. 

Public Notices and agendas for all meetings will be posted on our website: White Pine Charter School as well as physically posted on the front window of the main door to the White Pine Charter School Elementary School and the information window of the STEM Building.
