  • ISATS are coming! Do you want extra help for your student with math, reading, spelling, or writing that can be done at home with minimal prep? Please visit our Title 1 Lending Library (see attached) to see what is available! We have several individual and family games (in various formats), books, and other enrichment activities available for students in grades K through high school for math, reading, and writing. Just like a public library, students and families can check out items FOR FREE for up to 6 weeks at a time. The only requirement is that items be returned in the same condition as received. Please contact Dr. Adrienne Seamans if you have any questions or would like to check any of our available items. seamansad@wpcscougars.org

Elementary Dress Code Reminder:
Sweaters, vests, and cardigans are always welcome when the weather is cool—just be sure they’re solid red, white, navy, or light blue and worn with a collared shirt underneath.

STEM Announcements

  • WPSA Dress Code Reminder- Earbuds and headphones may not be used in hallways or during class unless a teacher has given permission. Stay alert and ready to learn!

  • All 11th grade students will be taking the SAT test on Friday, March 20th. They will leave school after testing. It will be a virtual day for the rest of the STEM Academy (6th-10th, and 12th grades).

  • Immersion Week is coming up April 20th-24th. Immersion Week is a fun and educational opportunity for students to learn about a new topic for an entire week! All regularly scheduled classes are paused for that week while students go on field trips, hear from guest speakers, and are fully submerged in a topic. Students will take the survey to submit their top choices on Wednesday, March 18th. Students do earn credit from Immersion Week so attendance is imperative. Fees will be assigned through MySchoolBucks to help support this innovative week.

Library Corner

  • We’re gearing up for our Barnes & Noble Book Fair and need a few volunteers to help throughout the event. Volunteers help welcome families, support students, and keep things running smoothly. If you’re available for even a short shift, we’d greatly appreciate it! Thank you for always showing up for our students! Sign up HERE

  • Library Volunteers Needed! Our librarian, Mrs. Potter, is looking for a few consistent parent volunteers to help in the library with shelving books, simple prep tasks, and supporting students. No experience needed—just a willingness to help!
